With 26 Sprinters in the Duke City Raceway Pits, $1,000 was First prize in
their 25 Lap Feature. Lap 22 brought out the Red Flag for #77 Tim West as he
bounced off the wall and flipped; virtually destroying his SW Abatement ride.
A bit shaken, Tim walked away.
#36L Joe Larkin Jr., in the LA - ZI Racing/Penzoil sprinter, started 20th
& had the lead by lap 7. He carried the checker over #65 Rick Johnson, #22
Bo Baker, #16 Tom Ball & #75 Miles Merritt.
Heat winners were #21 Anthony Tafoya, #01 Larry Stoerkel & #65 Rick
Johnson.
