No less than five drivers (Gaunt, Kirby, Griffin, Williams and Kruseman) led
the main event. Kruseman and Williams touched in turn 2 on lap 27 while
battling for the lead and both slid out.
Incredible racing for the top five spots throughout the main. Super passing
jobs included Gaunt (17th to first), Scott (18th to 4th), Spencer 21st to 9th)
and Mitchell (22nd to 14th).
Vista Paint will next present the NAPA Auto Parts/Auto Trader Magazines SCRA
Sprint Cars and the Southern California Ford Dealers USAC Ford Focus Midgets
at Perris Auto Speedway on July 13th.
