YELEY WINS SCRA OPENER

J.J. Yeley saved his tires and took the lead from Tony Elliottt six lap from
the finish Saturday to win the SCRA season opener at the Perris Auto Speedway
(Perris, CA). Sander Engineering Fast Qualifier Troy Rutherford finished
second ahead of Richard Griffin, who started 13th. Tony Jones and John
Scott completed the top-five.
