NOTES:
Heat 2
Lap 2- Lance Gremett spun
in Turn 4 and collected Troy Rutherford. Both tumbled, Rutherford got into the
turn 4 catch fence. Both drivers were okay. Rutherford sustained front
end damage, but during the red, the Gardners, with the help of several other
teams were able to get the car back on the track. Gremett also made the
restart.
Lap 1 of the complete restart, #61 Jeff Slinkard jumped the turn 4 cushion
while battling for the lead. He sustained major front end damage and was done
for the night.
B-Main
Lap 1- Lance Gremett, Rip Williams and Jimmy Gardner Jr. were involved
in a tangle in Turn 2. Apparently Williams went end-over-end, but was able to
climb out of the car. All drivers were okay.
Rick
Ziehl smacked the Turn 2 wall while battling with Ronnie Clark for the final
transfer spot. He was okay and done for the night.
Only 6 out of
15 cars actually finished the B-Main. Cars that did not finish: #3, 85, 96,
21, 35, 4, 38, 91sm (DNS) and 61 (DNS).
