Williams won his 50th SCRA main event and first one in nearly a year with room to spare. In emotional victory speech, he dedicated the win to the late
Ralph Tracy.
Best SCRA outing thus far for Michael Smith. At one point in the race was challenging Rutherford for the 6th spot.
Adam Mitchell drove the Jimmy Jet Motorsports #52 for the second consecutive event, but dropped out of heat and "B" main with problems.
Cory Kruseman debuted a brand new TCR Chassis.
Upside down on the night were Chris Rahe in the "C" main and Marc Hart in the fourth heat. Rahe's flip was in turn two as part of a three-car tangle with
Matt Felio and Jack DeArmond Jr. DeArmond punched a hole through on the of the back straight billboards. Hart's flip was a violent turn one crash that
did significant damage to his car.
Tony Jones qualified 9th fastest, finished 5th in his heat and started on the pole in the "B" main. His motor was going sour before the field took the
green flag and he did not transfer.
Mike Kirby missed the race due to vacation and Hank Winter was missing due to a reorganization of his team. Mike Boat will be in the Ricehouse #71 rest of
the season with SCRA.
