The
Southwest Sprint Car seriesmade it's debut in 2002. Originally called the USAC New
Mexico/Arizona Regional Sprint Car Series, this series began at The Southern New Mexico Speedway, at Las Cruces,
New Mexico on April 20, 2002. Current and
past stars include Rick Ziehl, Mike Boat, Beau Binder,
Ronnie Clark, Mike Martin, Johnny Herrera, and many more.
In 2005, the group dropped the USAC Sanction.
