- "The Ripper" Rip Williams claims his first Sprint Car
Driver's Championship. Rip won 5 features in Sharon Jory's black
#3 Stinger.
- Damion Gardner took Ron Chaffin's #50 JB/Eagle to 2nd place in
the point standings. "The Demon" won 8 main
events.
- Mike Kirby won the Inaugural USAC/CRA Main Event at Perris on
March 6th. Driving Glenn Crossno's #38 TCR, Kirby had 7 wins on
the season.
- "The Rocket" Ronnie Case was named Rookie of the
Year in Don Blair's #33.
- Greg Bragg and Bobby Cody shared Most Improved Driver honors.
- Dave Darland gave car owner Ben Lancaster his first career win
at Manzanita on March 19th.
- Cory Kruseman won the Sokola Classic on March 20th aboard Mark
Alexander's #4 Stinger.
- Damion Gardner won at USAC/CRA's first visit to Hanford's
Kings Speedway on April 3rd.
- Adam Mitchell scored his first career Main Event Win at Perris
on June 12th.
- Winged Sprint Car driver Jason York took the win on August
21st, narrowly beating Cory Kruseman, who started 17th, at the
finish line.
- Cory Kruseman won at USAC/CRA's first visit to Washington's
Skagit Speedway on July 30th. His Mark Alexander teammate,
"Flash" Jordan Hermansader was second.
- Damion Gardner took the win at the second night of action at
Skagit.
- Mike Kirby won the "Hall of Fame Vintage Classic" at
Manzanita Speedway on September 25th.
- Damion Gardner won the Bagley Classic at Perris on October
9th.
- "The Rocket" Ronnie Case won the Wagsdash at Ventura.
- Cory Kruseman won at USAC/CRA's first visit to Bakersfield
Speedway on October 23rd.
- Cory Kruseman won his second Oval Nationals in Tony Stewart's
#21 Eagle.
- Bud Kaeding won the Western World Championships aboard the #29
BK Motorsports Maxim.
- Rickie Gaunt won the season ending Jack Kindoll Classic at
Perris in Tony Smiley's #2A Extreme on November 20th.
- USAC/CRA ran 31 events at 6 different tracks: Perris,
Manzanita, Ventura, Kings, Skagit, and Bakersfield.
