- "The Gasman" Richard Griffin won his 5th SCRA
Championship and 5 features. Shortly after, he announced his
retirement from Sprint Car Racing.
- Ron Chaffin won his eighth SCRA Car Owner's title in nine years.
- 19 different drivers won features in 2003.
- "The Demon" Damion Gardner won 7 feartures in Harlan
Willis' #45 TCR.
- Rip Williams won his 60th career SCRA feature win. He also won
15 heat races.
- Bud Kaeding won the 2003 NWWC Championsip.
- Ventura 360 graduate Josh Ford won Rookie of the Year honors.
- Cory Kruseman won features for 3 different car owners, Cory
Witherill, Tony Stewart, and Mark Alexander.
- Jeremy Sherman won the Sokola Classic at Manzanita on March 22nd
for Dave Ellis.
- Boston Reid won Oskaloosa, IA's $30,000 "Ultimate
Challenge" on August 12th.
- Troy Rutherford won the season opener at Perris and the August
16th event at Granite City, IL for Mark Priestley.
- "The Rocket" Jesse Hockett won Lakeside Speedway's
$10,000 Feature on August 23rd in the VKCC Motorsports #75.
- Mike Kirby won 2 features for Mark Alexander, coming at Perris
and Manzanita.
- First time winners include Josh Wise, Charles Davis Jr., Jesse
Hockett, Tracy Hines, Boston Reid, and Lance Gremett.
- Long-time supporters Paul and Helen Bagley lost their lives on
April 26th, after a freak accident at Perris.
- Alan Ballard won the Wagsdash at Ventura on October 18th.
- Tony Elliott won the Western World Championship at Manzanita on
November 1st in Jeff Walker's #11.
- "The Wild Child" Jac Haudenschild won an Oval
Nationals Prelim Feature for Larry Woodward on November 13th.
- Cory Kruseman won the Oval Nationals at Perris, driving for Tony
Stewart.
- Lance Gremett surprised the field and won the season ending Jack
Kindoll Classic at Perris on November 22nd.
