See You At The Races!!!

Sprint Car Owners Racing Association (SCORA)

The 2009 season will see the birth of the SCORA Sprint Car Series. This is a steel block engines sprint car group. The SCORA stands for Sprint Car Owners Racing Association and was developed for the working class of sprint car racers.

SCORA was the idea of Sam Stockon Sr., a veteran racer and the founder of the successful MSCS. He saw the need for an organized group of racers that loved to race, but were getting squeezed out due to the high cost of sprint car racing. Joe Chambers, the head of Official Push trucks , is a partner in the SCORA group and J. T. Stapp has been a big part of the scheduling.
