RAPID SPEEDWAY NON-WING SPRINT CARS Commentary By Heather Riffel (July 28, 2006-Rock Rapids, IA) Bret Mellenberndt picked up his fourth win of the season in the Wingless Sprints. Darrin Korthals picked up his sixth win of the year in Late Model Stock Cars. Devon McMartin got his second feature win in a row in USRA B-Modifieds. Randy Rosenboom won his first race of the season in the Wissota Late Models. Greg Roemen won his fifth Sportsmen feature of the year. Shane Klaassen was able to pick up his second win in the Hobby Stock feature. In the Factory Stock Ryan Mulder got his second win of the year. Willie Hasvold started in the third position and was able to get by both Bret Mellenberndt and Leon DeBoer to lead the first lap of the Heartland Racing Association Wingless Sprint feature. Mellenberndt bounced back to lead the remaining seven laps. There were two cautions in the event. Both were for Willie Hasvold spinning. One occurred on lap three and the other on lap six.
