HUSET'S SPEEDWAY NON-WING SPRINT CARS Commentary By Heather Riffel (July 27, 2006-Brandon, SD) Josh Bethke, Brad Winesburg, Shane Klaassen, and Andy Kotek picked up their first wins of the season during Thursday night Thriller action at Huset’s Speedway. Adding to their win totals this season were Tyler Larsen, Larry Buckneburg, and Bret Mellenberndt. Bret Mellenberndt started on the pole of the Heartland Racing Association Wingless Sprint feature. He led all ten laps of the event. The only incident came in lap two when Jeff Luhmann got into the turn two inside wall. Mellenberndt picked up his second win of the season and held onto the championship point lead. Gerod Olivier finished in the second position and Jeff Davis rounded out the running order.
