HUSET'S SPEEDWAY NON-WING SPRINT CARS Commentary By Heather Riffel (June 1, 2006-Brandon, SD) The opening night of the Huset’s Speedway Thursday night Thriller got off to an exciting start with lots of new racing action. The classes featured were two classes of Hornets, Factory Stocks, Sportsmen, B-Modifieds, and Non-Winged Sprint Cars. Dan Roemen was a first time winner in the Factory Stock class. Other winners were Brian Voges, Troy Schreurs, Greg Roemen, Andy Hofmeyer, and Doug Martens. Doug Martens started on the pole of the Heartland Racing Association Wingless Sprint Car A feature. The race was filled with close racing action but Martens was able to hold on for the win. He was followed by Brett Mellenberndt and Andy Anderson. Dana Buttemeier and Jeff Davis rounded out the top five. See more of this racing action every Thursday night starting at 7:30pm at Huset’s Speedway. Non-Wing Sprint Cars Heat #1: 1.
