Orland's Taylor Simas, a rookie in the Wingless Sprint
division, captured his second win of the season in his #7t machine.
Simas was the 2005 Mini Truck track champion.
Friday night Orland Raceway will present four divisions
of racing during the annual Glenn County Fair, including the Pure
Stocks, Mini Trucks, Mini Stocks and Wingless Sprints. Pit gate will
open at 4:00 PM; cars and trucks must enter off Papst Street for this
event. For racing start times and admission prices, contact the Glenn
County Fair office at 865-1168.
The Raceway will also present a 200-lap Enduro Race on Sunday, May
21st. For rules and entry information call the raceway office at
865-2409.
