ANTIOCH WINGLESS SPRINT CARS In other action, Arvo Backholm grabbed the lead from Scott Merrell only to see Jim Perry Jr. take it from him several laps later. Backhold closely followed Perry and exiting turn 2 with about 7 laps to go, Perry's car shot towards the wall, allowing Backhold to driver under him. Perry was able to gain the handle on his car and tried to pressure Backholm but finished second. After the race, Perry saw that the right front brake caliper had broken apart after locking up. Merrell was third followed by Joey Santos. SUMMARY Division: Wingless Sprints
