In the Non-Winged Sprint division, Adam Schroer and
Greg Higginbotham topped the heat race fields. Schroer nabbed
the trophy dash victory while Tony Richards came from behind to win
yet another feature event. Tony grabbed the lead at the half-way
mark from then leader Justin Funkhouser. The two finished
one-two, with Greg Higginbotham taking third. BJ Martin jumped
into the #76x ride and came from behind to place fourth. BJ's
car owner in the Mini Mod division, Adam Schroer, finished right
behind BJ to round out the top five.
Racing continues on Saturday, July 16th, featuring all
five regular divisions. Grandstands will open at 5:00 PM and
racing begins at 7:00. Admission for adults is $8; kids and seniors
are $4; under six or over seventy are admitted free of charge.
