POINTS STANDINGS - 6/26
Adam Schroer took the Wix Filters Sprint lead on the second lap,
passing point leader Tony Richards, and stayed at the head of the
field for the remainder of the 20-lap feature event despite an
apparent oil leak which caused a large smoke screen for several laps.
Richards held onto the second position until the 10th circuit when he
was involved in a tangle that sidelined him for the evening.
Ed Butterfield grabbed the second spot and charged hard, holding off
advances from defending track champion Josh Jacobo who overtook
Butterfield on the last turn of the last lap for a spectacular photo
finish. Following the top three was Rob Worthington for
the fourth position. Jacobo won the division's trophy
dash.
