ANTIOCH WINGLESS
SPRINT CARS
ANTIOCH SPEEDWAY - ANTIOCH, CA
May 29, 2004
In the Wingless Sprints, it was
Billy Fraser winning for the second time this season, fighting off
hard challenge from Darrell Hanestad. Fraser started on the pole
of the 25 lap race and led every lap. From about the half way
point through the end of the race, Hanestad was all over Frasers' rear
bumper trying to get past. On the final few laps, Scott Merrell
got into the mix and got along Hanestad once but could not make a
pass. Hanestad was second, with Merrell in third, followed by a
great run by Troy Caraway in fourth.
