SPRINT CARS Fraser Breaks Through With Win Billy Fraser must have thought he was dreaming when he saw the starting lineup for Saturday's Wingless Sprint Main Event. Fraser was scheduled to start on the pole. Having already finished second in 3 of the first 4 events of the season, Fraser knew this might be the night to get that victory. And he did just that. Fraser, fighting off the curfew time limit, won the 25 lap Main Event, leading every lap. Joey Santos was second, with Jim Perry Jr. and Bob Newberry behind. The race was slowed by several cautions, as the changing track conditions provided a challenge to many drivers. But after each caution wiped out any lead Fraser had built up, he was able to surge away and hold his car in the grove all the way to the checkered flag.
