KANSAS CITY, Kan. (August 19, 2005) – Heavy thunderstorms
forced the cancellation of Friday night’s O’Reilly Sprint
Bandits Tour ‘N Topless preliminary event at Lakeside Speedway.
The inaugural O’Reilly Sprint Bandits “TNT” swing will conclude with Saturday night’s $10,000-to-win finale at Lakeside Speedway, as series point leader Levi Jones shoots for a five-race sweep of the series. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., with racing action set to go green at 7:30 p.m. Lakeside Speedway is located off I-435 Exit 18, then one mile northwest on SR 5, then right.
