TULSA, Okla. (August 16, 2005) – Wednesday and Thursday
will both be explosive nights within the borders of Oklahoma as the
O’Reilly Sprint Bandits Tour ‘N Topless Rounds Three and Four
light up the clay ovals at Oklahoma City’s State Fair Speedway and
Tulsa Speedway.
With the first two of six events in the books for the inaugural
Sprint Bandits “TNT”, Levi Jones of Olney, IL, looks for his
third triumph in as many events as the series takes to State Fair
Speedway on Wednesday night, marking the first time in the track’s
storied history that non-wing 410-ci Sprint Cars have tackled the
3/8-mile clay oval.
The next night, the wingless warriors charge up the Turner Turnpike
to battle it out atop the semi-banked 3/8-mile Tulsa Speedway oval,
setting the stage for the “TNT” concluding double at Lakeside
Speedway in Kansas City, KS, on Friday and Saturday night, with
Saturday’s big finale featuring a $10,000 winner’s share.
