USA Raceway Announces 2009 Schedule |
|
Tucson, AZ (January 31, 2009) – A new year of exciting racing and new track promoters make for a action packed 2009 race schedule. USA Raceway, under the new management of Benji Lyons and Kevin Montgomery, gears up for the Grand Reopening of one of the nicest facilities in the west. With 30 race dates and a lot of fun filled excitement, race fans won’t want to miss a minute of the action. UMP West Modifieds open the show on February 28th. The Grand Opening will kick off the 2009 points battle for the modifieds, street stocks and factory stocks. With the new track surface and the skills of track preparer Tom Campbell, the racing surface will be in top condition. USA Raceway has many fun and exciting plans to add to the racing action in 2009. “We are going to bring the excitement back to the track, we understand we are in the entertainment business and we plan to entertain.” Benji Lyons commented “We have the nicest facility in Arizona and we want the race fans to have a place to call home.” There will be an opportunity for races fans to get a preview of the 2009 racers at an open practice slated for February 21st. The festivities will kick off at 12:00pm. Grandstand admission is free for all those who want a sneak preview. Discounted season passes will go on sale soon. Please stay tuned for further updates.
