Tarlton & Son, Inc. Racing Team Has Strong Showing at Kings |

Hanford, Ca, (March 28, 2009) – Peter Murphy and Michael Faccinto would both compete in the West Coast 360 Non-Wing Sprint Car Racing Series event held at King's Speedway's 3/8-mile oval in Hanford, Ca. Murphy, who is coming off of a stellar weekend with the World of Outlaw Series at Tulare, drove the Tarlton & Son, Inc No. 21 Non-Wing Sprint Car to victory earning him his first victory of the young 2009 season. It would only be Murphy's 4th event of the year and second race in the series. Murphy finished 3rd the last time the series visited Kings Speedway on March 14th. "It feels good to get our first win behind us," said Murphy. "The guys had the car right and the rest was on me. It was challenging at times, but we stayed out of trouble and brought home the victory for Tom Tarlton and the guys." Michael Faccinto, who was piloting a twin Tarlton & Son, Inc. Maxim No. 21, finished the main event in the 5th position, improving on his 7th place finish also on March 14th. In preliminary festivities, Murphy would qualify in the 5th spot with Faccinto qualified in the 9th position. In Heat 2 action, the young Faccinto finished 2nd and Murphy 5th.
