April 6, 2009 --- Chowchilla Speedway will rev up the engines again this Saturday night April 11th. Pit gates open at 3:00pm, grandstands open at 4:00pm, and racing begins at 5:00pm.
The headliner this week features the Super Stock cars, the under card includes the Spec Sprint cars, the Hobby Stock cars, and the 4-Bangers.
Roy Hart Jr., Darren Thomas, Donnie Shearer, George Lefler, Rickey Thatcher, Chuck Crews and the rest of the field look at add their names to the list of Super Stock winners as Mike Shepherd did in the last race.
The Hobby Stock point's battle will move forward with the top Hobby Stock drivers in the area going head to head. Point's leader Danny Roe will be chased by Mark Key, Shannon Porter, Phil Vaughn, Tommy Bostic, Marshall Weaver and the rest of the field of talented drivers.
The Spec Sprint car portion of the program is a non-points race and is designed as a test race for the upcoming May 2nd season kick off for the Spec Sprints. Many teams have expressed interest in the Spec Sprint car program at Chowchilla Speedway so everyone is optimistic that the May 2nd event will be strong.
The Chowchilla Speedway continues it assault on the movie theatres this week with $7.00 adult ticket prices! That's right, $7.00 Adult tickets, youth 6-12 are just $5.00, and kids 5 and under get in for free.
Ticket prices are cheaper than the movie theatre, with food prices that are family friendly as well. The theme at the Chowchilla Speedway is being the best value in the entertainment world, period.
