DAVID CARDEY JOINS ALEXANDER MOTORSPORTS IN 2009 |
|
JANUARY 4, 2009 --- "Dynamite" David Cardey has signed on with Alexander Motorsports for the 2009 campaign. The new combination is looking forward to the season and are actively searching for sponsors to help challenge for the USAC/CRA Championship. The majority of last year's sponsors will return, with many sponsorship opportunities still available with the team. Cardey, who scored an Oval Nationals Preliminary victory at Perris Auto Speedway on October 31st, will drive Mark Alexander’s silver #4 DRC powered by a J&D Performance engine. In 2007, “The Cowboy” Tony Jones piloted the Alexander entry to the USAC/CRA Series Championship and won a series leading 6 main events in 2008, despite running a limited schedule. David finished sixth in the USAC/CRA point standings and also drove to a Victorville, CA Sprint Car win on August 2nd. |
