ALL-AMERICAN SPEEDWAY HOSTS WESTERN SPRINTS SATURDAY

MAY 26, 2008 --- All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif. is Saturday’s venue for USAC’s Western Sprint Car Series which finds three drivers locked in a tight battle for championship points.
Tanner Swanson of Kingsburg, Calif., Nick Rescino Jr. of San Francisco, Calif. and Eric Humphries of Chowchilla, Calif. are separated by only 14 points going into Saturday’s racing program which also features the USAC California Ford Focus Pavement Series.
Swanson has been the fastest qualifier twice already this season and won the most recent race at Tracy, Calif. He finished fourth in the 2008 series opener at Roseville.
Rescino has a pair of second place finishes in 2008 and was fifth in the Roseville opener, while Humphries finished second to race winner Shane Hmiel in the April race at Roseville.
