Bonus money up for grabs to winged sprint car drivers during May 25th Salute to Indy at Tulare Thunderbowl |

Tulare, CA – May 12, 2008…With the second annual Salute to Indy featuring the USAC/CRA sprint cars coming up on May 25 at the Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway, a nice bonus will be up for grabs to winged sprint car drivers who shed their wings and compete during the night. KRC Safety Equipment and Sharp Insurance, both of Visalia, will be putting up $500 each which will be paid out to the top four regular winged sprint car drivers who take the wings off for the event. Both parties are huge and loyal sprint car fans who want nothing more than to see as many winged sprint car drivers as possible compete at the Salute to Indy. The payoff for the money to the top four highest finishing winged regulars will be $400 to the top finisher, $300 to the second, $200 to the third and $100 to fourth. The Salute to Indy last year saw a very successful inaugural event at the Thunderbowl and this year is expecting to be every bit as good when the wingless 410’s invade the 1/3 mile clay oval on Sunday night May 25.
