ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPRINTS “OFF” UNTIL JULY 26; |

JUNE 23, 2008 --- Defending USAC/SLVRA Young Automotive Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Champ Ryan Burdett of West Jordan, Utah is now 3-for-4 in 2008 series competition. He extended his series point lead to nine over runner-up JoJo Helberg by winning Saturday night’s 40-lapper at the Salt Lake City, Utah oval. The Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series is idle until July 26 when it resumes in the Utah capital. Ryan passed JoJo Helberg on the 15th lap of Saturday night’s race and led the rest of the way to beat Helberg, Jim Waters, Rick Pardee and Jeff Bergener. Waters was the fastest qualifier and also won Saturday’s 25-lap Auto Trader Utah Developmental Ford Focus feature at RMR.
