ITI PERFORMANCE MOTORSPORTS PRESENTS VETERANS AT THE AUTOFEST SATURDAY AT PERRIS! |

(JUNE 3, 2009, PERRIS, CA) When ITI Performance presents the Veteran’s at the Autofest this Saturday, June 7th, at Perris Auto Speedway, it will be more - much more - than your average Saturday night at the racetrack. While the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars and California Lightning Sprint Cars will supply the action on the track, fans will have much more to do and see in addition to watching the races. Beginning at 2:00 PM, there will be a custom car and motorcycle show located just inside the front gates of the famous Riverside County clay oval. Entries for the car portion of the show are just $20.00 and will include two tickets to Saturday night doubleheader Sprint Car show. Entry for the motorcycle portion of the show are only $10.00 and will include one ticket to the races. Awards will be given to the ten best vehicles in attendance. On display will be a 2007 Jeep Cherokee fitted with a 6.1 liter 425 horsepower Hemi engine. This vehicle will later be auctioned at the Just Cruzin Productions promoted Pismo Beach Car Show on June 21st. Just Cruzin is also promoting this week’s Veteran’s event at The PAS. Saturday might’s festivities will include an auction featuring two autographed helmets of NASCAR Sprint Cup star Tony Stewart. The proceeds from the auction and from a collection taken up by the drivers, military men, women and the Dirt Track Divas will go to will go to help veterans who have fought to keep our country free. The military will present the colors at the start of the evening and Mr. Larry Tackett will be making an appearance to sing a special song he has written for the veterans at the start of the night. Decorated Vietnam veteran and the rider of the only Harley-Davidson Speedway Motorcycle in the world Johnny Griffitts will be singing the National Anthem. On the racing side of the program, Saturday’s show will include qualifying for the USAC/CRA division and heats, B and A mains for both USAC/CRA and the Lightning Sprint Cars. Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of the Southern California Fair), approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit at the Ramona Expressway and go two miles east to the fairgrounds.
