|
(MAY 11, 2008, PERRIS, CA) Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian has announced the addition of four Dwarf Car races and one Modified race to the 2008 racing schedule.
The Dwarfs, who have not been at the famous Riverside County clay oval in several years, will debut this Saturday night, May 17th. The Extreme Late Models MC Painting and Contracting Super Stocks, PASSCAR Street Stocks and the Pick-A-Part Factory Stocks will also be in action on Saturday. The Dwarfs will be back at the track on June 28th, July 26th and September 20th. The Dwarfs claim to fame at The PAS came at the Dwarf Nationals in 2001 when NASCAR Sprint Cup superstar Kyle Busch competed as a relatively unknown teenage driver.
The added PASSCAR Modified race will be on August 23rd when they join the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars in a show presented by Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply. It falls on the date when the track will host “Hot August 70s Night” (fans born in the 1970s will get in for just $5.00) and “Dog Night” (fans will be urged to bring their dogs to the races).
Anyone wishing more information could contact Perris Auto Speedway at (951) 940-0134.
