(APRIL 9, 2008, PERRIS, CA) Due to popular demand, Perris Auto Speedway is expanding 1930s and 40s night this Saturday, April 12th, when Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply presents the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars. Initially the night was for any fan born in the 1930s or 40s. However, several fans that were born in the 1920s called and asked, “what about us?” Promoter Don Kazarian heard their plea. Now, any fan born in 1949 or earlier will get in for just $5.00. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing at 7:00.
Saturday’s open wheel clash on the clay will include qualifying, ten lap heat races, a 12-lap B main event and a clay slingin’, slide job throwin’ 30-lap A main event. And, for the kids, there will be a Big Wheel heat race during one of the breaks in the action and, of course, the popular PAS Dance Contest at intermission.
