The Discount Tire American Sprint Car Series Wayne Weiler Memorial Salute to
Indy Saturday night will be running for their largest purse ever. A posted purse
in excesss of $19,000, including special awards such as hard charger, hard luck.
1/2 way leader and farthest tow, has been posted.
The winner of the 51 lap feature will pocket $2,000 with all 24 cars in the feature receiving at least$350. The main event payout alone is $16,900. The trophy dash distributes $250 and any car that takes agreen flag but does not make the feature will receive $200. The distribution of the posted purse has the sixth place finisher receiving as much as a main event winner in a regular show.
