(Ventura, CA - July 3, 2008) Following the July 4th Perris Auto Speedway USAC/CRA
event, Cory Kruseman and his trio of development drivers will travel to the
Midwest this summer to challenge the very best non-wing sprint car drivers in
the country. Competing in 25 events during a six week period, the team will
field a stable of Viper Chassis supported by LUCAS OIL and AGROMIN SOIL PRODUCTS
for drivers Cory Kruseman, rookies Austin Mero and Henry Clarke as well as
second year driver, Alex Schutte to wheel.
Kruseman, Mero & Clarke are scheduled to compete in USAC Indiana Sprint
Week, the sprint car portion of USAC Indiana Midget Week and the Sprint Bandit
Tour~N~Topless (TNT) tour. In between these series, Shutte is scheduled to join
his rookie teammates competing locally in Indiana on a pair of action packed
weekends. All four drivers are scheduled to compete in the MSCS $10,000 to win
event at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, IN) on August 2nd while Kruseman will be
the lone entry in the $30,000 to win Ultimate Challenge in Oskaloosa, IA on
August 5th.
With the winningest driver in Indiana Sprint Week history and two time
Champion as their mentor, these young drivers (Mero 16, Clarke 18 & Schutte
19) understand how difficult just making the shows can be. “It’s tough to go
back there and compete with guys that run these tracks every week, but to have
the opportunity to get so much seat time in a short time period will be
invaluable to their progress as a driver” stated Kruseman.
