ANGEL FIGUEROA JOINS HAMMER RACING IN 2008 |

FEBRUARY 13, 2008 --- The "Little Hammer" Angel Figueroa will return to VRA sprint car racing in 2008 driving for the "Big Hammer"- Bernie Hammer. Angel who has some 55 feature wins in dwarf cars will be stepping into Bernie’s famous Double Nickel (55jr) TCR Chassis 360 Sprint Car. Bernie, who started his racing career in 1947 as both a driver and owner, has put together a very experienced crew that are ready to give Angel a highly competitive race car. With Angel behind the wheel, the Hammer Racing team are looking forward to alot of exciting racing. With some sponsorship help, Hammer Racing can keep its sprint car on the track all season for the VRA fans as well as making other special events, and are looking forward to much success .
