EARL’S POINTS AVAILABLE AT TERRE HAUTE & PERRIS; |

SEPTEMBER 29, 2008 --- Points toward 2008 USAC Earl’s Fast Qualifier Championships are available this weekend at the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track and the Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway. Bobby East is atop the Earl’s standings in the Mopar National Midget Series, which competes Saturday in the 57th First Financial Bank Hut Hundred at Terre Haute and Mike Spencer leads the Earl’s standings into this Saturday’s Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint race at Perris. Drivers Tracy Hines, JoJo Helberg, Josh Ford and Evan Margeson earned top qualifying honors in last weekend’ USAC racing. Hines was the fastest qualifier for the “Winchester Oldtimers Weekend” National Sprint race at Winchester (Ind.) Speedway while Helberg paced Western Sprint qualifying at Altamont Motorsports Park in Tracy, Calif. Ford was the top qualifier for the Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprints at Perris and Margeson out qualified the field for the Western Midgets at Tracy. Earl's Performance Plumbing, a division of Holley Performance Products of Bowling Green, Kentucky, is the sponsor of the "Earl's Performance Plumbing Fast Qualifier Championship." Earl’s will present year-end cash awards to the drivers finishing in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions of the "Earl's Fast Qualifier Championships. |
