IT’s 60’s NIGHT AT THE PAS SATURDAY! |

JULY 14, 2008 --- The 1960’s will be saluted this Saturday night at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway as the Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint cars return to compete on the ultra-fast half-mile dirt oval. Anyone born in the 1960’s will be admitted for five dollars. Mike Spencer’s point lead stands in the 60’s as he leads Danny Sheridan by 67 points, while Blake Miller is third in the standings, 73 back of the leader. Spencer has not won since his March victory at Perris, while Sheridan has posted three 2008 wins at The PAS. Once again in 2008, the Lucas Oil USAC/CRA series has produced a bevy of winners, 11 to be exact, in just 15 races. Ironically, defending champion Tony Jones is one of only three “top-10” drivers who have yet to win this season. The others are David Cardey and Josh Ford.
