NEXT ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACEWAYS SPRINT MAY 28;
BURDETT EXTENDS LEAD WITH 31-LAP WIN!

MAY 14, 2007 - Ryan Burdett takes a 24-point lead over Jim Campbell into the May 28 USAC/SLVRA Young Automotive Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series program at Rocky Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City, Utah
Burdette extended his lead in the points by winning the curfew-shortened 31-lap feature Saturday night. He passed Rick Pardee on lap 11 and led the rest of the race to beat Greg Anderson, Jim Waters, Pardee and Branson Burdett.
Mark Bergener of Kearns, Utah was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries suffered when he hit a wall during the feature event. Bergener suffered rib and vertebrae fractures, a bruised lung, a shoulder injury and minor burns in the incident.
