Peter Murphy Readies
For Grand Slam Series Race #1!

Thursday April 5th, 2007 – Clovis, CA... driver Peter Murphy will no
doubt have his elbows up and be "gettin' after it" non-wing style this
Saturday night, April 7th at Bakersfield Speedway's 1/3 mile bullring
in Oildale, CA.
This Saturday's race will kick off a 4-race campaign for the 360 wingless warriors. Peter, who currently sits in the 3rd spot in SCRA sprint car points, will be piloting the beautiful black Tarlton & Sons, Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino, Ridgeline Roofing, Sharp Insurance, VMAC, Maxim. Peter is no stranger to the Grand Slam series as he picked up the 2005 championship with his outstanding consistency. In the 6 races entered, Peter picked up two wins in the Tom Tarlton owned mount. One win coming at Bakersfield and another at Santa Maria Speedway. In the other 4-events, Peter crossed the line finishing the series with one 2nd, two 3rd place finishes, as-well-as a 7th place finish, and earning himself and the team the 2005 championship.
