FANS INVITED TO ATTEND OVAL NATIONALS DRIVER'S MEETING!! |

(OCTOBER 28, 2007, PERRIS, CA) Fans arriving early for this Saturday's
finals of the 12th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals presented by Temecula Valley
Pipe & Supply, will be able to attend the driver's meeting. When fans walk
through the spectator gates to enter the track, they will be greeted by all of
the competing drivers and cars who will line each side of the main walkway. The
driver's will available to sign autographs, pose for photos and answer
questions. At approximately 4:30 PM, the drivers will gather in front of the
track's sports bar for the driver's meeting which fans are invited to attend.
Spectator gates will open at 3:00 PM. "This is a great way for our fans to meet the drivers and then attend the driver's meeting and hear what goes on before the races," Perris promoter Don Kazarian said. "We did it on July 4th and the fans loved it. Many of them have never been in the pits so they learned a lot and came away smiling." The Budweiser Oval Nationals will take place on November 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Saturday's A-main event will pay $30,000.00 to the winner. With the race still over a week away, 67 of the fastest Sprint Cars and top drivers have already entered the event. On Tuesday afternoon, October 30th, the 2nd Annual ITI Performance Motorsports Oval Nationals Golf Classic will take place at the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Course followed that evening by the tournament banquet. On Wednesday night October 31st, there will be a practice session open to all Oval Nationals entered cars and it will be free for the fans in the grandstands. The first night of the racing will be Thursday, November 1st and it will feature qualifying for all cars followed by heats, semi mains and an A main. Friday November 2nd will feature the same wild program as Thursday. During the daytime on Saturday, November 3rd, the Annual Pick-a-Part $1,000.00 to win Corn Hole (bean bag) Tournament will be held. Saturday night will feature the main events including the $30,000.00 to win A main. The week will conclude with the Cory Kruseman Sprint Car Driving School on Sunday, November 4th.
