(OCTOBER 23, 2007, PERRIS, CA) Lakeside, California’s B&B Heavy Equipment has stepped up to sponsor some special awards at the 12th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals, presented by Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply, at Perris Auto Speedway on November 1st, 2nd and 3rd. B&B will pay $1,000.00 to the highest point scoring 360 driver from Thursday and Friday’s (combined) qualifying nights. They will also be paying $1,000.00 to the winner of the Annual Dean Thompson Award, which goes to the high point driver overall, from Thursday and Friday. And, if a driver sets a new track record after the two days of qualifying B&B will pay that driver $500.00. “We are happy to have B&B come on board,” PAS promoter Don Kazarian said. “At such a large event as the Budweiser Oval Nationals, they are going to get a lot of exposure.” In addition to B&B paying $1,000.00 to the 360 high point scorer, The PAS is paying $1,000.00 to the highest placing 360 on Saturday night. In addition to their Lakeside operation at 10108 Riverford Road, they will be opening a location in the near future in Beaumont. B&B started out in 1978 with one piece of heavy equipment. Today they have grown to over 500 pieces of Heavy Equipment and they service California, Arizona and Nevada. The Oval Nationals will encompass six days of fun and racing in 2007. On Tuesday afternoon, October 30th, the 2nd Annual ITI Performance Motorsports Oval Nationals Golf Classic will take place at the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Course followed that evening by the tournament banquet. On Wednesday night October 31st, there will be a practice session open to all Oval Nationals entered cars and it will be free for the fans in the grandstands. The first night of the racing will be Thursday, November 1st and it will feature qualifying for all cars followed by heats, semi mains and an A main. Friday November 2nd will feature the same wild program as Thursday. During the daytime on Saturday, November 3rd, the Annual Pick-a-Part $1,000.00 to win Corn Hole (bean bag) Tournament will be held. Saturday night will feature the main events including the $30,000.00 to win A main. The week will conclude with the Cory Kruseman Sprint Car Driving School on Sunday, November 4th.
