(OCTOBER 1, 2007, PERRIS, CA) For the second year in a row it will not
only be the racers who have chance to win a big chunk of change at the 12th
Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals presented by Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply.
On Saturday afternoon November 3rd, Pick-A-Part Auto Recyclers will once again
be the presenting sponsor for the $1,000.00 to win Pick-A-Part Corn Hole (Bean
Bag) Tournament. The prize will go to the fan with the deadliest aim and
accuracy in the event. The tournament will take place just inside the main spectator gates at noon. Signups will be taken during the first two nights of the Oval Nationals and any additional open spots will be filled on Saturday morning. In addition to the $1,000.00 first prize, there will be other prizes to be announced at a later date. The Oval Nationals will encompass six days of fun and racing in 2007. On Tuesday afternoon, October 30th, the 2nd Annual ITI Performance Motorsports Oval Nationals Golf Classic will take place at the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Course followed that evening by the tournament banquet. On Wednesday night October 31st, there will be a practice session open to all Oval Nationals entered cars and it will be free for the fans in the grandstands. The first night of the racing will be Thursday, November 1st and it will feature qualifying for all cars followed by heats, semi mains and an A main. Friday November 2nd will feature the same wild program as Thursday. During the daytime on Saturday, November 5th, the Annual Pick-a-Part $1,000.00 to win Corn Hole (bean bag) Tournament will be held. Saturday night will feature the main events including the $30,000.00 to win A main. The week will conclude with the Cory Kruseman Sprint Car Driving School on Sunday, November 6th. Perris Auto Speedway is located on the freeway close Lake Perris Fairgrounds, home of the Southern California Fair, approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway and go two miles east to the fairgrounds.
