(MAY 29, 2007, PERRIS, CA)
Perris Auto Speedway will begin its Annual Kid's month this Saturday night, June
2nd. All kids 12 and under will be admitted free when they are accompanied by an
adult the next five weeks. Supplying the action for the younger set this
Saturday will be the popular Art's Concrete Pumping Extreme Late Models, PASSCAR
Modfieds, Street Stocks and the California Lightning Sprint Cars. Spectator
gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing at 6:30.
June has been deemed "Kid's Month" at The PAS
since 2001. "We started Kid's Month as a reward to our fans," stated
promoter Don Kazarian. "It saves them some money and it is a way of saying
thanks to them for supporting our shows. It also exposes younger fans to our
sport."
As has been the case in the past, this year's
"Kid's Month" is not just a family thing. "As long as the kids
are accompanied by an adult, they all get in free. Fans can load up the car, van
or rent a bus and bring the entire neighborhood and they will get in free,"
Kazarian said. "The kids love the shows and we enjoy hosting the kids. The
more the merrier."
In addition to this Saturday, the other four Kid's
Month races will be:
June 9th – Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars
presented by Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply
June 16th – Art's Concrete Pumping Extreme
Late Models, PASSCAR Modifieds, Street Stocks and Pick-A-Part Cruisers
June 23 - Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars presented by

Western All Star Series at Bakersfield.
Corona, California's Johnny Lathrop, whose racing
resume includes championships at the long defunct Corona Raceway, will be
looking for his second straight win the PASSCAR Modified class. Lathrop actually
crossed the line second in the main event two weeks ago, but was awarded the win
when another driver in the field protested the winning car, which was found to
be illegal.
The California Lightning Sprint Cars, headed by point
leader David Bezio will return for their third 2007 appearance on Saturday and
the popular Street Stocks, the track's biggest class, will close out Saturday's
program.
Saturday's Kid's Month opener will feature high-octane
action including qualifying for the Late Models and heats and main events for
