Haubstadt, IN. June 21, 2007. Officials of the Hoosier Tire Midwest
Sprint Car Series are pleased to announce that an important date has been added
to the 2007 season schedule. Moler Raceway Park will host the MSCS Sprint Cars
on Friday September 28th which is the night before the touring series is
scheduled to appear at Florence Speedway at Union, Kentucky. This will provide
race teams and fans a double header racing weekend in the greater Cincinnati
area. The tracks are less than an hours drive apart!
The completion of this agreement will provide twice the excitement for fans
and twice the enticement to drivers. This announcement is sure to attract the
attention of leading non-wing sprint car drivers of race teams across the
Midwest. Drivers from 11 states have already participated in the series this
year. The MSCS sprints will be part of the First Annual Fall Fest Triple Crown
at Moler Raceway Park which will also include late models and modifeds on the
same program. There will be three thirty lap features that night to crown a
victor in each class.
Moler Raceway Park is promoted by Kevin and Kim Moler of Williamsburg, Ohio,
along with track Race Director Tom Wieck of Newport, Kentucky. The new quarter
mile, semi-banked dirt oval is located at Williamsburg about 25 miles east of
Cincinnati, Ohio.
The facility, which has a wide racing surface, opened for regular racing on
Friday May 25th of this year. The track will feature sprint cars on several
occasions this summer prior to the announced special Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint
Car Series show on September 28th. The MSCS sprints will race for a top prize of
$3,000 that night.
To travel to Moler Raceway Park from the West, you need to take 32E to De La
Palma Road and turn left. After traveling another mile turn right on Harker-Waits
Road and the track will be just a quarter mile on your left.
