Mero To Join Sprint Car Ranks In 2008 |

Ventura, CA - October 22, 2007--- Saturday night concluded the 2007 racing season for the Ventura Racing Association Jr. Focus Midget series with a new Champion. The Kingsburg Kowboy , [Austin Mero (15)] of Kingsburg, CA finished his first full season in the series by winning that Championship.
Austin drove under the “Cory Kruseman Sprint Car and Midget Driving School” banner while sponsored by Central valley trucking and Valley Transport Refrigeration (VTR) bringing the #7x to Victory.
The 2008 racing season will see Kingsburg Kowboy progress in the Cory Kruseman Driver Development program by competing full-time in sprint cars. Mero got a taste of running the sprint cars in August during Kruseman Motorsports' tour through the Midwest, competing in five events.
