2nd annual JIM
KIERCE MEMORIAL |
|
On October 20th 2007 Ventura Raceway will host the 2nd annual JIM KIERCE
memorial Super Senior Invitational. This race is formatted much like the Wags
Dash except it is for the older drivers running the VRA Senior division. Like
the Wags Dash, the entire purse is made up of donations by race fans and event
sponsors.
The 2006 Inaugural race included nine drivers with a purse of just over $6,000. Dale Harwood led every lap and took home the winning purse prize of $1850. This race was a huge success; we are looking forward to another exciting race with an even bigger field of cars. Kevin would like to thank everyone for the generous support last year, as well as thank everyone in advance for their support this year.
