Feather Falls showroom to host John Padjen Motorsports Awards Dinner November 24th By Bill Sullivan |

OCTOBER 20, 2007 --- OROVILLE, CA – The top ten drivers in four different auto racing venues will be recognized for their accomplishments on stage in the elegant showroom of Feather Falls Casino in Oroville on Saturday, November 24th. This reservation-only special event will award the top ten competitors in from the 2007 racing season at both Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Placerville Speedway, including the Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Spec Sprint Car Series that shared the season between both tracks and the traveling Civil War Sprint Car Series that competes at five different race tracks under the management of John Padjen Motorsports.
Reservations are required for this special event and are currently being accepted through the business office of John Padjen Motorsports. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a no host bar followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. and the awards presentation thereafter. Those wishing to make reservations for the 2007 John Padjen Motorsports Awards banquet should make checks payable to Silver Dollar Speedway and include the number of people in your party. The Feather Falls Casino Lodge is now open for lodging and discounts are available for those attending the awards banquet. Information on lodging can be found by calling (530) 533-3885.
