AUGUST 5, 2007 --- Update : Chad Boespflug raced at the Paducah,KY 3/8
Very high backed track Friday night and was involved in an accident that wll
sideline the young driver for some time. Chad was running 1st or second and hit
the turn one wall hard and flipped it sveral times ( barrow rolling ).
During one of the rolls he was hit by Darren Clayton and his car got into Chads cage and , somehow , both driver were knocked out. Darren continued on full throtle over the 2nd turn wall while Chad ended upside down between turns one and two. They both were taken two the local hospital and Darren was later released while Chad was air lifted to University of Louisville hospital for observation because of Shoulder injuries and skull fractures. Chad was released from hospital and Sat night and is at home recupperating. Report is shoulder has deep bruise and he has a fractured skull behind each ear.
