| Jeg’s and Zak Hawthorne with Raceday Giveaway at Ventura Raceway |

Jeg’s High Performance, sponsor of rookie Zak Hawthorne’s #1s VRA sprint car
is holding a special raceday giveaway this weekend. Jeg’s High
Performance will supply yellow and black Jeg’s caps, stickers and free Jeg’s
catalogs to the first 360 spectators coming through the gates on Saturday
afternoon, November 18 at Seaside Park’s Ventura Raceway when the gates open
to the one-fifth mile dirt oval at 3:30 PM. Twenty-six year old Zak Hawthorne drives a Cory Kruseman Sprint Car School, 360 Chevy-powered, Bullet-chassis VRA sprinter and recently competed on the half-mile at Perris Auto Speedway in the 3-day Budweiser Oval Nationals. Zak has focused on racing in his 2006 rookie season at Ventura Raceway and also in the Sprint Car Grand Slam Series held at Ventura and Santa Maria Speedway in central California. At the November 18th event Ventura Raceway will crown its 2006 VRA 360 Sprint Car Series Champion and hold round one of the USAC National Ford Focus Midget Championships. This Ventura race will settle the dirt track segment of the Ford Focus Midget Championship with the pavement portion determined on November 23rd at the 66th Annual “Turkey Night Grand Prix” held at Irwindale Speedway.
