corner, May 17th & 18th. |

April 4, 2006…The
Annual Vintage Open Wheel Celebration is held every year on the "Magic
Mile" in Cars travel from all over the country to participate in the two-day event.
Cars from as far south as This is the largest gathering of Vintage Open Wheel Race Cars in the country.
Each year a Grand Marshall is named for the celebration. In past years, notables
like Roger Ward, A.J. Watson, Buster Werke, Ron Bouchard were honored. This
honoree for 2006 will be Ken Squier. |
