November 30, 2006 – Recognition for USAC's 2006 racing champions and
other deserving award recipients will occur on two fronts, beginning with the
Night of Champions National Awards ceremony in downtown Indianapolis on Friday
night, Jan. 19. This year's National venue is the Westin Hotel.
The USAC Western Awards ceremony is slated for Friday night, Jan. 26 at the
Embassy Suites Hotel in Arcadia, Calif.
Champions of all USAC racing series will be honored in Indianapolis, where
Rob Klepper, the voice of USAC, will serve as the master of ceremonies.
Champions of USAC's Western activities, including the Western Sprint and
Midget Series, CRA Sprint Car Series, California Ford Focus Series and Rocky
Mountain Sprint Car Series, will be toasted at the Jan. 26 affair in Arcadia
where renowned broadcaster and announcer Pat Sullivan will serve as the emcee.
