Marysville, CA - May 30, 2006... The fire breathing winged
Pacific Sprint Cars, the Hunt Wingless Sprint Cars, the MiniStocks and the
TCS Stock Cars will roar to life during the 7th Annual Mel Hall Memorial
Race. The race is Twin Cities Speedway’s annual salute to one of the icons
of local motorsport and will take place this Saturday night.
This once a year celebration
of Mel’s dedication to area auto racing is, without a doubt one of TCS’
biggest nights of the year. The traditional pre-race ceremonies will kick
off after qualifying for the Pacific Sprint Cars. All divisions will benefit
from increased purses, and the Pacific Sprint Car feature will pay $1500 to
win.
The 7th edition
of this annual racing classic promises to be the best ever.
Gates open at 5 this Saturday night with racing starting
promptly at 7PM.
